On this camping safari you will experience it all! From fantastic wildlife to impressive landscapes and meeting the local people. You will visit the highlights of northern Tanzania such as Tarangire National Park, Lake Natron, Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater. Something unique in this safari is the “off the beaten track” trip to Lake Natron, offering you a real sense of adventure.
You will be picked up at the international airport (KIA) by our driver with nameplate.
He will take you 60 km (1.20 hrs. drive on tarmac) to Arusha.
Overnight in an Arusha Airbnb & diner in a local restaurant.
3 hours drive on tarmac in our safari jeep via quaint villages and beautiful landscapes.
After entering the reserve through the Gate, our wildlife safari starts. picknick lunch box. We will stop for a picnic during our drive.
In the late afternoon, we seek the public campsite where our LT Chef has already set up the tents.
After the evening drive, a delicious campfire dinner awaits you.
After breakfast we start our morning drive in Tarangiri National Park to discover more wildlife.
After our picknick we leave the park and drive to Karatu.
In Karatu, you will stay at the comfortable Linda’s Lodge where the local chef will prepare you a delicious meal.
After a short drive we arrive at the main gate of the Ngorogoro
After visiting the viewpoint at the edge of the crater we descend into the crater.
Ngorongoro Crater offers the highest density of wildlife of any national park in Tanzania.
Herds of elephants and grazing Cape buffalo leave a lasting sense of awe. Zebras and wildebeest frolic on the plains of the crater floor under the watchful eye of hippos and flamingos in the crater lakes.
After leaving the crater you enjoy a picknick lunch and we drive to the nearest gate of Serengeti National Park.
Where you will have a first encounter with Central Serengeti wildlife.
We drive to Nyani camp site where our tents are set up and the cook prepares dinner.
Today we spend the entire day in the park.
Going on a safari in Serengeti National Park is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that will allow you to see some of the most incredible animals in their natural habitat.
You’ll be able to see animals such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and many others.
We have diner and overnight in the cozy tents at Nyani camp.
After an early morning breakfast, we drive through the park towards the exit gate.
This gives us a few more hours to enjoy the wildlife and nature of the Serengeti.
Here we enjoy the last picnic before driving towards the airport or Arusha.
