Arrival
Day 1: Welcome to Tanzania
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be warmly greeted by your expert guide and introduced to the journey ahead your Serengeti Splendor Adventure. Enjoy a smooth transfer to Tumbili Lodge in Arusha, where the tranquil setting invites you to relax and unwind. Settle in, refresh, and savor a delightful dinner as the sun sets. This peaceful evening marks the beginning of an unforgettable safari experience.
Day 2: Into the Heart of the Serengeti
Today, your adventure unfolds in Central Serengeti, a region famed for its extraordinary concentration of wildlife. After a leisurely breakfast and scenic transfer, through the wild beauty of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, home to the Maasai, you’ll enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the wilderness before setting off on a thrilling game drive. With golden plains stretching before you, encounter the Big Five and other iconic species, guided by the keen eye of your expert naturalist. It’s a journey into the very heart of the wild.
As the sun begins to set, you arrive at your luxury lodge, ready to relax, reflect, and relish the unforgettable moments of the day.
Day 3: Central Serengeti, Endless Plains, Eternal Beauty
We begin this morning with a full day game drive into the heart of the Serengeti. As we journey across the land, its name,“endless plains”, reveals its truth. The earth unfolds in every direction, a boundless sea of grass stretching beyond the eye. Across these golden reaches move over two million wildebeests, accompanied by zebras and antelopes in their timeless migration. Here, the wild reigns supreme—lions lounge in the shade, cheetahs scan the distance, leopards slip through the trees, and hyenas call to the wind. This is the Serengeti: raw, vast, eternal.
Day 4: Into the southern serengeti cradle of migration
After breakfast, we venture into the southern plains of the Serengeti, a region that comes to life during the rainy season. Between December and April, this area—particularly around Lake Ndutu—becomes the epicenter of the Great Migration. Attracted by fresh grasses, massive herds of wildebeest and zebra gather here in breathtaking numbers. This is also where thousands of wildebeest calves are born, making it one of the most dramatic and moving wildlife spectacles in Africa. The abundance of vulnerable young animals naturally draws an array of predators, creating intense scenes of life and death played out daily across the plains.
Day 5: Southern serengeti
After breakfast, we venture into the southern plains of the Serengeti, a region that comes to life during the rainy season. Day 6: Last Look at the Serengeti
We start the day with an early morning safari in the southern Serengeti. As the sun rises over the vast savannah, the landscape comes to life and you have one last chance to admire the morning activities of the wildlife. After this final safari, you will return to the lodge for breakfast, followed by check-out and a moment of relaxation. We then continue our journey with a midday safari, searching for last encounters with the rich wildlife of this extraordinary area. We drive towards Nabi Gate, where a tasty picnic lunch awaits you – a final moment of tranquility in the heart of the Serengeti. After lunch, we will bid farewell to the enchanting landscape and begin the return journey to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport. Your safari may be over, but the memories will live on.
