Arrival
Day 1: Arrival and Transfer from Airport to Arusha City
Upon your arrival at the airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative from Luwai Tanzania safaris who will be waiting to receive you. After a brief introduction, you’ll embark on a comfortable drive to Arusha, a vibrant city nestled at the foot of Mount Meru. Depending on your arrival time, you may catch glimpses of the beautiful Tanzanian landscape along the way. Once in Arusha, you’ll check in at your hotel, where you can relax, refresh, and enjoy your first evening in Tanzania at your leisure.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Early in the morning, you’ll be picked up from your lodge to commence an enchanting journey to Tarangire National Park, accompanied by delicious packed lunch boxes.
Tarangire National Park is renowned for its extensive elephant herds. During your visit, you’ll encounter diverse landscapes, from seasonal swamps to vast savannahs. Throughout the park, the Tarangire River meanders, enhancing the picturesque scenery. Here, you might witness a majestic lion stealthily tracking its prey or spot leopards lounging in the lofty trees. After completing the exhilarating game drives, we’ll chauffeur you back to your lodge, where you can unwind, savor a delectable dinner, and enjoy an overnight stay.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park
Following breakfast, you’ll embark on a captivating game drive en route to Serengeti National Park, with a scenic lunch stop within the park. Your adventure continues in the afternoon until you reach the lodge.
The following day promises exhilarating game drives within Serengeti’s renowned landscape, where migrating herds and resident predators, including leopards, cheetahs, and lions, showcase the circle of life.

Day 4: Full-Day in Serengeti National Park
After breakfast in the Serengeti, you’ll embark on a full-day game drive across the park’s vast plains, searching for wildlife such as lions, elephants, giraffes, leopards, and, depending on the season, the Great Migration of wildebeest and zebras. You’ll explore different ecosystems, from riverine forests to open savannahs, guided by an expert who shares insights into the park’s ecology and animal behavior. A picnic lunch is enjoyed in the bush, allowing you to stay immersed in nature. As the day winds down, you’ll head to Friends Serengeti Tented Camp, where you’ll relax, enjoy dinner, and spend the night under the stars in a comfortable tent surrounded by the sounds of the wild.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
Following breakfast, you’ll embark on an exciting game drive within the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater. Once your game drive concludes, we’ll transport you to Arusha, marking the end of our remarkable safari.
The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is home to the world’s largest unbroken caldera and stands as one of Africa’s natural marvels. This unique ecosystem hosts a year-round population of approximately 30,000 large mammals, including buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos, as well as a diverse array of bird species, such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards. Brace yourself for an abundance of wildlife sightings in a remarkably short span of time.
