Itinerary Details
Arrival
Day 1: Arusha National Park
Your safari adventure begins with pick-up from your hotel in Arusha around 8:00 AM, followed by a short, scenic drive to Arusha National Park. Upon arrival, you’ll set out on a guided walking safari, offering a unique opportunity to explore the forest on foot and observe wildlife such as giraffes, colobus monkeys, and buffalo at close range. After a picnic lunch inside the park, enjoy an afternoon game drive around the picturesque Momella Lakes and the dramatic Ngurdoto Crater. Keep an eye out for flamingos, zebras, warthogs, and a variety of bird species. As the sun sets, you’ll return to your lodge for dinner and overnight rest.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park – Elephants & Baobabs
After an early breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, a scenic 2.5-hour drive from Arusha. Upon arrival, embark on a morning game drive through the park’s diverse habitats, with excellent chances to encounter large herds of elephants, graceful giraffes, and a variety of antelopes roaming the open savannah. In the afternoon, enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated spot within the park before continuing your exploration along the Tarangire River and among the park’s iconic baobab trees. Keep your camera ready for sightings of lions, zebras, and vibrant birdlife in this wildlife-rich haven.

Day 3: Drive to Central Serengeti
After breakfast at the lodge, you’ll depart early for Central Serengeti, traveling through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This full-day journey, lasting around 6 to 7 hours, offers game viewing opportunities along the way as you pass through highland forests and open plains. By early afternoon, you’ll enter Serengeti National Park and begin your first game drive en route to the Seronera Valley, a region known for its year-round wildlife activity. As you traverse the vast savannah and granite kopjes, keep an eye out for lions, elephants, cheetahs, and other iconic species. In the evening, arrive at your tented camp for dinner and a restful night under the stars.

Day 4: Central Serengeti Game Drive – Return to Arusha
Begin the day with an early breakfast followed by a stunning sunrise game drive in the Seronera area, renowned for its high density of predators and rich variety of wildlife. This is the perfect time to spot lions, leopards, and hyenas as they are most active in the cooler hours of the morning. Around midday, enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated spot within the park, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the Serengeti.
