Itinerary Details
Arrival
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
You’ll be picked up from your hotel in Arusha around 7:30 AM and begin the scenic 2.5-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Upon arrival, your morning game drive begins, offering a first glimpse of the park’s rich wildlife and landscapes. After enjoying a picnic lunch inside the park, continue with an afternoon game drive along the Tarangire River and through areas dotted with majestic baobab trees. Expect to encounter large herds of elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, and a variety of bird species. As the day winds down, you’ll head to your lodge for dinner and a relaxing evening in the African bush.

Day 2: Tarangire to Central Serengeti
After breakfast at the lodge, you’ll depart early for the Central Serengeti, passing through the stunning landscapes of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive takes approximately 6 to 7 hours with scenic stops along the way. In the afternoon, you’ll enter Serengeti National Park and begin your first game drive as you make your way toward the Seronera Valley, the heart of the park. Along the journey, keep an eye out for cheetahs, lions, elephants, and possibly leopards roaming the vast plains and rocky kopjes.

Day 3: Full Time Game Drive in Central Serengeti Then Return to Arusha
Start the day with an early breakfast followed by a breathtaking sunrise game drive in the Seronera River region, an area renowned for its high concentration of wildlife—particularly big cats like lions and leopards. As the morning unfolds, enjoy the serene beauty of the Central Serengeti while spotting a variety of animals in their natural habitat. Around midday, you’ll stop for a packed picnic lunch at a designated site within the park. If time permits, you can take part in one final game drive before beginning your return journey.
